The end of the first week of school, we celebrated with lunch!
September 7, 2018 - Grandparent's Day, now called Generation Day. None of her grandparents could make it so, mom and dad got to come have the fun in the homeroom and talk to her and all her new friends in her classroom.
9/11 - YaYa came for lunch!

October 13 - Delaney did a dance clinic were several of her friends from Kindergarten, including Sela and Emma Burek.
Delaney's first ever Parent Teacher conference went beautifully. She is excelling academically. The only thing socially that has been identified as starting about a week earlier, is she being a little selective with friends. Mrs. Martin said Delaney is quite popular and when she wants to sit with a particular friend, she is saving seats or spots in line for them and not allowing others to sit in the open seats. Mrs. Martin caught her moving papers over to make a seat next to her look like it was taken until one of her friends was able to get there. We are working very quickly to address this behavior both at home and school and know we will turn it around.

APEX Fun Run in early November. Delaney got all 36 labs just in time! Her class raised the 2nd most amount in the entire school, so got all kinds of parties and awards, including getting to throw water balloons at Principle Specia!
October 30, 2018 - Addison and Ella asked Delaney and Asher to join them on TV for the morning announcements! They did so great.
November 3, 2018 - Delaney's 1st ever real report card! She did so great!
November 8, 2018 - off to school after babysitting Tatum for the night.
November 16, 2018 - Poetry Presentation, just before we left on Thanksgiving break. Delaney was selected to memorize 3 lines for the Kindergarten POW WOW performance. She practiced so well to be prepared.
All semester long, Carter and Addie read her new spanish books to her over and over again!
In early December, Delaney surprised us and ended up on the school morning announcements again.
Some fun classroom moments:
Delaney's very first Kindergarten field trip was to the Magic Theater. We were super disappointed to learn that they were allowing only 3 parents, chosen from a lottery, to attend but were grateful to get pictures from Megan P and Mrs. Toriello.
Before we knew it, Delaney's first half of Kinder was over, wrapping up with a fun Winter Party.
