Carter's 12th birthday festivities kicked off the evening prior with a fun father son Spurs basketball game. Blake commented on how engaged and how much he is into the games the entire time. He is SO much fun to be there with! With the big day being on a Tuesday during the last week of school, we were up early enjoying his "favorite breakfast" which included Grands Cinammin rolls, with a drizzle of chocolate sauce and whipped cream. He wanted to open present before school and was so excited when he got a super nice pari of new basketball shoes from Pops and Lolli! That afternoon and evening, we had a last minute neighborhood get together to sing happy birthday to Carter where we was surrounded by many of his most favorite people. He decided on a cookie cake and a frozen chocolate mouse cake to dine on. It was a simple yet fun day celebrating Carter's 12th birthday.
