We normally do our family gift exchange on Christmas Eve afternoon, but with being in Colorado over Christmas, we had a fun late night evening of giving one another gifts, mid week. From us, Delaney received a cruise ship James Avery charm to remember her first cruise in 2019, Addison received her 12th annual Frog Prince and the excitement was high when Carter opened his water globe, bets being taken on if it would be something commemorating one of of the many adventures brought the family, an RV, Wolf from Yellowstone or Stingrays from Grand Cayman. We were all excited to see it was a black bear to remind him of the multiple Yellowstone bear experiences, but specially the moment when a black bear came out of the forest onto the road a a hundred feet in front of us to grab some road kill and then sat down to enjoy it perching the the dead squirrel on a log just off the street. The kid's started Blake and I a funny Christmas mug collection, too, which will be a new favorite tradition come each December to drink our coffee out of.
The complete ridiculous excitement on Carter's gifts to the girls - hydroflasks.
Carter received a year's worth of his favorite magazine Sports Illustrated Kids, a butterfly trainer knife to do tricks a homemade Root Beer Kit.
