Christmas Night: Leaving For Breckenridge, Colorado and Day 1

After a few hours at Ya-Ya and Grandpa's house, we came home and for about 2 hours, all 3 kids napped and Blake and I finished up last minute packing. We had packed for all 5 of us the Thursday before Christmas weekend and hid all the packed bags in our closet. It really made traveling on Christmas Day evening nice and smooth! Danielle offered to take us to the the airport around 6PM for a 8PM flight and before we knew it, we were off to Denver. We landed around 9:30PM Denver time and I had opted for a shuttle to pick us up and drive us to Breckenridge late that night. In hindsight, it was the best decision since it had been snowing all day and driving at midnight in a whiteout, after such a busy several days was not something I wanted for Blake to do.

Ski Trip Stats:
The very first time, all 3 went to ski school.

Carter: 11 years exactly. This was his 4th actual ski trip - 2012, 2013, 2016, and now in 2018.
Addison: 9 years and 7 months. This was only her 2nd real time really skiing although 4th family ski trip.
Delaney: 4 years and 9 months. This was her first real time skiing and ski school, although her 2nd family ski trip.

The following day - December 26, 2017 - we planned to take it easy, get our skies and explore.  Blake took a quick Uber the store in the morning while the kids relaxed and Carter played in the snow with his GoPro all morning. After lots of sledding, we walked into town for lunch and explored our favorite little mountain town of Breckenridge. Then it was time to pick up skies. That evening after dinner, while I relaxed at the condo, Blake took the kids downstairs to the hot tub and game room.

Ready for the next morning!
