Walking out of church tonight, either Megan Perkins or Blake were behind Carter and I walking and noticed the height similarity. It warranted an immediate stop to measure. At that moment, the consensus was that Carter, in fact, had surpassed his mom. I was a bit in disbelief because we had just measured a few weeks ago. But I remained calm.
Once we got home and took off shoes, we re-measure with the use of a level and found that I still have a height advantage to my son as of his 14 years and 2 month age, by a whopping 3/4". I think my days of being taller than my first born baby are limited.
