This is our 13th year doing the Kingsland 4th of July Parade and this was our first official year not entering the Children's Parade and instead, putting all energy into the adult parade. It was so much fun seeing the hundreds and even thousands of people lining the street for the parade. With the theme of "Salute to Freedom," we had the idea of representing the 5 branches of the US Military! It was truly awesome to see all the Veterans and active military people, take off their hats and salute to us and tell us thank you for honoring them.
