Bryan/College Station - Megan and Blake's "Parade of Homes" They Have Lived In

Megan's Parade of Homes

1. 1998/1999 - Freshman year at Texas A&M University Mosher Hall. 1st floor, roommates with Ellen Jenkins.

2.  1999/2000 - Sophomore year at Texas A&M University, I lived at the Kappa Kappa Gamma house with Amber Rasco, Beth Akery and Suzanne Vonderhoya.

3. 2000-May 2002 (Graduation) - My junior and senior years, I lived in this adorable house - 3802 Valley Oaks Dr. with Kelli Neumeyer and Kate Bystry in Bryan. Kelli's parents had purchased this house for us to live in during our college years. I think I paid $350/mo to live in one of the 3 bedrooms.

4.  After graduation, I moved off to Bentonville, AR from June 2002 until February 2003, when I returned to College Station, Texas after getting a job with Eli Lilly in February 2003. I purchased this house in April 2003 - 3742 Essen Loop for around $127K and sold it 22 months later, for around $135K, in February 2005, after Blake and I got engaged and moved to San Antonio and were married in March 2005.

Blake's Parade of Homes

1.  1998 Blake's first rental when he moved to College Station to attend Texas A&M University after playing soccer and attending Tyler Junior College for his first 2 years. He lived here with his brother, Clint, Jay and Jay's brother, Jeff. Total, paid around $675/mo to live here, which was $168/per person/month. The fun fact at this house was the four of them alternated shared room every 6 months to make it fair in there 3 bedroom house.

2.  2000 (?) Blake's second rental in Bryan, TX - 3513 Green Ridge Cir, just 2 streets over from where Megan was living during the exact same frame. He lived here with his brother, Clint, Jay and and guy named Matt. 16 years later, Blake didn't recognize the house at all as the garage has been converted to a room. They paid around $900/mo to live here, which was $225/mo for Blake.

3. 2001 - After getting his first real job, post college, with Eli Lilly, Blake made a wise investment and purchased a duplex close at 2352/2354 Cornell Drive , pretty close to campus and lived in one side and rented out the other. This is where Blake lived when Megan and him met in the Spring of 2003. After we were married in 2005, we kept this rental house for a short time and rented out both sides. Blake originally purchased the house in 2001 for $107K and sold it in 2006 for $125K.
