This was the 2nd year that the kids have participated in UIL in Elementary school and although it was extra work, I feel like both of their homework workloads have been extremely light this year so it has been the perfect enrichment activities to focus on for the past 6 weeks. They both participated in Spelling, Art and Chess. Last year Addison had won first place in "Story Telling" but this year turned out to be Carter's big year receiving 6th place in Spelling, 4th place in Art and 2nd place in Chess!
