Spring Break: Rosemary Beach (The Land & Sea Cottage)

I knew nothing about the town of Rosemary when I started looking to book a Spring Break house for the 9 of us back in October or November. All I knew is that I wanted close to the beach. So based on that criteria of reading that I need to be South of 30A highway along with somewhat limited houses left back then, we landed on the Land and Sea Cottage. I think I found them via VRBO or HomeAway but now, have learned that I could save on fees, just going straight through barefoot-30a.com website

The house was absolutely perfect for the 9 of us. While we were there, we were absolutely in love with the location proximity to the beach, the field and town but in hindsight, I loved the layout of the 3 story house just as much. All 3 bedrooms, except the master that Blake and I stayed in (which was on the 3rd floor) were on the first floor. Therefore, there stayed majority of the sand and chaos! When they came in from the beach, it was mostly contained on the bottom floors which had great concrete floor and tile finish outs everywhere. There was a 4 bed very small bunk room where the girls stayed with their own bathroom, a neighboring small room with a queen bed where Drew and Carter slept along with an attached bathroom and then a 3rd bigger queen room with a nice bathroom right off it where Kelly and Andy stayed. Off their bedroom, they had a small porch where Andy kept his crossfire equipment and we did some workouts in. The second floor was all common living with the kitchen, dining and living room, along with the great porch. It also had the 4th bathroom which is the bathroom that Blake and I had to come downstairs (from the 3rd floor to use.) That was the only thing I would have changed in a perfect floor. But otherwise, I loved how it was a nice house but not "too" nice for 5 kids that were 11 years and under! You can tell some of the houses all around were decorated with perfection and I am sure I would have been somewhat nervous having so many kids running in and out of of it while they had my credit card on hold for damages.

If we ever went back, we would be good with nearly any location south of 30A but did prefer the western or central part of Rosemary, closer to Main Street.
