Addison's 2nd half of 3rd great was fantastic in all ways. She adores school and loved getting to join some after school activities like UIL. She even placed 1st place out of all 2nd and 3rd graders in the "Story Telling" competition. Addison participated in the Reflections Art Contest and had it displayed in the school hallways. She loved leading the Spring student-led conferences and was very organized. I was so impressed with how consistency great her hand writing was all year long. Academically, Addison had a straight A average for the entire year in all classes. As far as her first round of STAR testing in 3rd grade, she did great, achieving Mastery in Reading and Just shy of Mastery in math. Throughout the entire semester, as the 3rd Grade Leader in Me representative, she led some of the morning announcements and attended meeting every other week after school. In late May, on the Friday before her birthday, she had her annual day at school with her dad as he was a WATCH DOG, which was the same day that I was there volunteering for their Field Day and it was also the day we all celebrated her 9th birthday in her classroom. Addison, Ella and two more classmates did an exceptional job choreographing and performing a fun dance to Justin Timerberlake's current hit -"Can't Stop The Feeling," for the school's Talent Show. Blake joined Addison on her last 3rd grade field trip to the Riverwalk downtown, which included a ride up to the top of the Hemisphere Tower. And we all finished the school year on the last day of school at their Hawaiian themed party! What a year! In addition to school, this semester, Addison regularly attended 2 days of week of soccer practices on Mondays and Thursdays and a 3rd additional Goalie training practice. She attended CBC church choir practices on Wednesdays and had piano practices every Friday afternoon. (check Blake's phone for any additional pictures.)
