Carter started the day early, getting up to go and fly fish right outside the condo in the Blue River for a couple of hours. It had been five years since we had done the famous Vail Pass and we had one full day with Grandpa and Yaya and we knew exactly what we all wanted to do! It is 14 miles of beautiful downhill road from Vail to Frisco, Texas. It was a stunning Saturday and so we were glad we went early to avoid the crowds. We had looked back at photos from 5 years ago and Delaney was adamant about wearing the same outfit that Addison had worn, since Delaney is the exact same age as when Addison had done it for the first time. It was so cute.
Afterwards, we had lunch at Island Grill at the Dillon Frisco Marina and we kept riding 6 miles around part of Dillon Reservoir. Over 20 miles on the bike today felt so good.
