Addison's First Lululemon Purchase in Breckenridge, CO

While in Breckenridge the past 2 trips, we pass a Lululemom shop every time we walk to and from Main Street. YaYa had given Addison $50 to spend on a Colorado souvenir and Addie decided she really wanted to buy something from Lulu. As the week went on, she remembered she had some money left from her birthday, in May, that she hadn't spent either. Due to COVID, we had to sign up for a "spot" to go shopping and it took several hour to get the text to come in. We had talked about the pricing and what smarter purchases would be for her prior to shopping but once inside we met Lexi. I couldn't have asked for a better first experience for Addie. Lexi was like the cooler older sister that was telling Addie everything practical and how she can never buy anything in life unless it gives her so much excitement that she just has to wear it the very next day, to buy a size bigger so that that it will last for at least 2 years and how she would not recommend certain mesh fabrics for her since it will snag when she is climbs trees. She went on to talk to her about the meaning of "investment pieces" and then did a whole lesson for Addie on how to wash all her clothes to keep them looking new. Addison fit perfectly in Lulu size 2 but she purchased size 4. It's somewhat ridiculous how how much she spend on 3 items but weeks later, they look adorable on her and she wears them non-stop as they have been her only needed "back to school" shopping for virtual school! This moment in time and these shorts and 2 tops will definitely be a memory she always has. It reminds me of the Z. Cavaricci's of 1990 that I just had to have, when I was the exact same age. Delaney joked that she would pay 10% of the purchase total since she gets them in 5 years!
