Breckenridge - Day 2: Biking Vail Pass

Tips to remember:

Vail pass: We used Alpine Sports out of Brecekenridge - they were fine. Nothing bad but nothing great. On shuttle ride to drop off point, sit up front with guide and he will tell you cool things about glacier ponds, beavers, moose and elk places to look along 14 mile nice route, exit 190 and drop off at rest stop with good bathrooms to start. Took hour and half stopping several times for pictures. (Next time, another option is to use Rebel Sports out of Frisco for 24 hour bike rental with helmet and lock and free shuttle to vail pass for $46 and $36 for kids... Compared to $55 and $40 were kids at Alpine sports out of breck). Other benefit is we could stay in Fridco longer and stay at Dillon lake marina and not be on time frame to be picked up if our car was parked there in Frisco/ Lake Dillon. Looking back, I am glad,,Addie (at age 7) was connected to back of Blake's bike due to a couple of there steeper down hill path parts along river. But she probably would have done great on her own bike but we would have had to worry about her much more staying in control.
