It's August and that means it's my favorite time of the Summer to head to Breckenridge. This was going to be a incredibly simple and low key trip, truly meant to just relax, spend time together and enjoy the 30-50 lower temperatures. Yaya and Grandpa were there the entire week prior so they were literally outside waiting for us when we pulled in around 11:30AM. We immediately headed outside to explore.
Our travel day was the simplest direct flight, touching down in Denver at 8:30AM, leaving us with a full day in beautiful Colorado. We arrived in Breckenridge by 11:30AM where Ya-ya and Grandpa had lunch waiting for us. Grandpa and Carter quickly went into town to learn about fly fishing in the area and get some equipment for Carter to be able to fish all week long. He was is heaven and taught himself how to tie intricate fishing knots from Youtube, by day's end. We slowed down and rested, Blake watched some golf before we all walked downtown to find a yummy place to eat. We ate at Kenosha and had fun spending time all together. We all turned in early and slept so hard, ready for another day in mountain paradise.
