For years and years, I've had these 2 embroidered dresses hanging in Addison's closet ready for the day I would have her slip them on her to remanence. I had seen pictures from the 1980's with me in them and based on the length of the dresses, I was certain I had to be 8 or 9 years old. Recently, I got Addison to play dress up with me afterwards when I went to find the original pictures, I found that I was around 4.5 years old when I was photographed in the dark navy blue plaid one and 6 in the red one. My mother had hand made these 2 dresses and had even smocked them, herself. I vaguely remember her smocking machine during that stage of her life and now correlate it to my Silhouette machine I just purchased in 2017. Something about the love of personalizing our children's clothes flows thought our veins.

Now that I know the ages, I can just photograph Delaney in the same dresses right now.
