Skiing: All About Carter! (With Videos)

Carter's second season skiing was perfection! He is at such a great age and LOVES this sport SO MUCH! The first day at Breck we opted to sign him up for ski school in a small group of three. He was in the third level (highest) of his age group of 6 and 7 and at the end of the day, the instructors agreed he needed to be at a higher age group (this is for our future ski trip outing notes.) We dropped him off at 8:30AM and Blake picked him at 3PM for another full hour on the slopes with until 4:30 PM. He is a skiing machine and I loved seeing him warm up by the fire afterwards while listening to all his stories from the day's new adventures!

After the first day of ski school, the next full day Blake and he skied together. After literally flying down several green runs, Blake took him straight to the blues. Carter quickly realized he couldn't fly down the blues quite as fast as the greens. As far as moguls, he flies through them like a natural and actually preferred the harder blue mogul filled runs to the blues that were straight down. It is with ease that he navigates through them and actually skis with better form having to actually turn.
