Christmas Morning: Sheer Joy On Their Faces!

They had been patient long enough and they were off to see what Santa had brought them this year.
This year, it was all about watching their reactions and searing them in my memory. At barely six and four, they did not disappoint.
I loved how Carter stopped opening his presents to come cheer for Addie while she opened her pink wallet. He was so excited for her!
She had seen Stompeez on TV and they were one of the few items on her list for Christmas.
But at the VERY top of her list... her expression says it all... were SPARKLES!
Carter got his very first 8-in-1 pocket tool kit... wow, I never would have thought this would have been so exciting to a six year old... I guess Santa does know best.
We still talk of Maverick alot and Carter had wanted some "animal" golf club covers. He wanted a "Maverick" and a "Buddy."
At this point in the morning, I couldn't help but think about what would next Christmas look like with a nine month old crawling around in the paper. - Mental Snapshot.
The big gift that Addie wanted so bad from Santa was a Barbie "Rocktar" as she called it!
Looking back at these pictures brings such joy to my heart.
One of my favorites...
For Christmas, Santa brought Carter a magic kit and we had SO MUCH fun doing some of the tricks!
Another favorite... once Carter read the instructions on how to do the magic trick, his response at busting Blake, was priceless!
Such a great Christmas morning.
