Since we went to bed so late, we set the clocks back an hour and it worked like a charm, at 7AM 8AM, we all woke up leisurely and it was quickly confirmed that Santa had in fact come, evidence left by the crumbs on his plate and the filled stockings hanging nearby. The kid's ran upstairs to where Santa has historically left the bigger gifts and the kid's just stared before coming down for breakfast. They were so patient!

They got to open their traditional gifts from Mom and Dad. Addie got her 5th "Frog Prince" and Carter got his 7th annual special "Water Globe" remembering his first trip to South Carolina and catching his first shark on the shore this year!
We took some time and played with some toys already opened while breakfast was cooking.
Then it was time for the stockings! Both kids got Tooth Fairy pillows from her friend Santa as we anticipate both their first lost tooth this year, perhaps!
