It was just nine months since Addie's first introduction to skiing in Park City, Utah. She knew what to expect but getting ski boots on is TOUGH work! Good thing I was 31 weeks pregnant and had to leave it to daddy.
Her brother (back left of following picture and dad) were never far away.
She went down the tiny hill with the magic carpet nearly ten times before announcing she was ready for the big hill, just above.
This was one of those priceless moments I want to always remember when she raised her hands up and shouted, "Mom, I didn't know skiing was going to be THIS much fun!!!"
She was quickly doing the magic carpet all by herself.
Next was the "pony pole lift" and Addie did that two or three times, skiing down the BIG hill all by herself.
I was so unbelievably proud of my big girl!
Her brother giving her a big congratulatory hug...
And her dad helping carry the big time skier back into the warmth after nearly two hours of skiing to enjoy herself some hot chocolate.
