Christmas morning was pretty wonderful. The kids slept until almost 7:20AM and we tried to start holding them off until Lolli & Pops were set to arrive at 8AM. It was getting hard, especially for the 3 year old, so we started stockings around 7:45 with Delaney, Tiger and Blake! Tiger had one of her new toys from Santa completely destroyed within 8 minutes. Everyone had fun taking turns watching what everyone was opening. We took a super quick 7 minute intermission before opening the game room door to find more present that Santa had left. After about an hour and half in there, we went outside to see what Lolli & Pops had given the kids for Christmas - a new soccer return! Delaney tried out her super fast new Nike's from Aunt Danielle, too. It was a warm and pleasant Christmas Day morning. At 12:30, we were rushing to get changed in order to get to YaYa and Grandpa's by 1PM for Christmas Day lunch.
From Santa, the kids received:
Carter (just turned 10): Nice new helmet, fancy soccer shoes that mom would never buy, X-box and he shared a hover board with his sister.
Addison (age 8.5): new sneakers, new "workout clothes" she has been begging for to wear to school more, new iPod, wash tape, new light up speaker/alarm clock for her room and hover board that she shared with her brother.
Delaney (age 3.5): American Girl doll & accessories, PetZZZ sleeping dog, portable art lap board, and purple scooter.
