In October 2019, after having the using this red leather bag my mom gave me the month I started at Lilly in Feb 2003, I replaced it with a new green bag. It had been such a great bag for 16.5 years.

In December, I held a dinner for some of my most favorite nurses.

January 2020's meeting in Houston was fun with our 3rd time doing Shark Tank.

2020 was huge for many reasons, the biggest was deciding to officially move to working 4 days a week. It was something that I talked to Marianne about in October 2019 and when the first Monday of January came, it was so nice to go back to having my Monday's back to be at home and do things that are important to me and the family, to add more cushion in my life, to be more present with Blake and my kids. I had been part-time from 2009 through 2015 and after having 4 very busy, stressful, successful, satisfying and fruitful years launching a Dermatology sales division and Taltz, since January 2016, I was more than ready to go back. It truly feels so good and I am so grateful to work for a company that offers this and supports me taking advantage of it.

National Meeting March in Boston. It was the week that the Corona Virus really started heating up around the country but our company still had us all meet in Boston. It was a fun and beautiful week and I don't think anyone knew what life would be like once we returned home to a global pandemic starting a week later. This was an incredibly special meeting for me, as it was the largest promotion of my sales career to Senior Executive Representative. There is about 7% of the entire sales force that achieves this in their career. 12 years ago, I had set the goal to accomplish this by the time I was 40. It took a about 3 months into 40 to achieve but I'm not too upset by it.

At this meeting, I got good time with a few of my BACK2WORK mentees and a casual network breakfast meet up.

Freedom Walk

I flew directly from Boston to Phoenix for Spring Break week and returned to work the very day that they officially pulled everyone out of the field on Friday, March 13. Nearly 2 weeks in, I am incredibly proud of how Lilly is handling the Corona Virus and the rumor is that we maybe working from home through April. Which is a good thing since just today, March 24, they closed all San Antonio schools until April 27, 2020.
