This picture is for Blake and I to look back at in fifty years and laugh. See, seven years ago, a wonderful work colleague of mine mentioned that with her three kids, she put them in her master bedroom closet for the first couple months of life. Hearing this statement pre-kids, I instantly thought she was a horrible mother, however I knew otherwise of her three college aged kids. She further stated that it was the perfect location, just a few feet away from her bed, yet gave everyone privacy and it even had it's own air vent. A year later, once Carter was two weeks old, Blake and I thought moving him to our nearby closet was genius and have done it with all three. Little Delaney, being our third child, made the transition for the night time when she was four days old and has slept like a rock star, thus far, her first 3.5 weeks of life, never confusing her nights with her days.... could it be the magic closet!?!?
