Addie's Kinder Round Up

Blake and I were set on making Addie's first and only Kinder Round up (just 365 days after Carter's) as special and exciting as Carter's was. We make it a family affair as we had done with him. I remember the unknown feelings walking in with Carter to the gigantic school not knowing where to go or what it would be like. This year it was a very relaxing experience, Addie knew what to expect. I was shocked when the Principal's assistant was calling her name across the cafeteria when she was looking for where Carter had gone. I was thinking, how does she already know who Addie is?!?! What I don't want is Miss Addie to live in her brother's shadow throughout her school experience and after that one night, I don't think that will happen. Addie has such a strong personality that Carter was being introduced as Addie's big brother to many of the staff instead of the other way around. It was funny. Addie has no issues starting Kinder and was ready a year ago! It's surreal to think that we will be back here one last time in five years with Delaney.
