On Thursday, the guys played golf and then we all came together to start a fun weekend. We kicked off Thursday night celebrating Konrad's birthday, from a few weeks ago, pizza in the pool and a hysterical night getting locked in garage houses and nearly falling off gigantic boat dock roofs, trying out the swing. So many memories were made.
Day 2 involved a 20 foot wide slip n' slide and 25 bottles of baby oil. We even did a Shipt order of only Baby Oil to replenish the supply.
Day 3 was July 4th and we kicked it off early with an impromptu neighborhood parade that we planned ourselves! That's right, just because COVID-19 cancelled everything, we decided to continue the important tradition. The fireworks across the lake from my parent's was beautiful and many of the neighbors in all directions did fireworks before and after the main show, which made it so cool.
