Megan's Favorite's:
The excursions in Grand Cayman and Jamaica
Traveling on the boat with so many people we knew
Sitting on the balcony everyday
Just the joy and happiness of everyone around us
The shows
The constant options of a wide variety of activities
The freedom the kids had on the cruise ship
Taking NO phone calls for 8 full days - we opted for only 2 cell phone packages for just Blake and myself and really only used it to communicate on the boat mostly
Being adventurous every single day with the kids - I never once just sat back and watched!
Our 2 connected rooms and 2 separate bathrooms

My final thoughts - Wow, what a fun family trip! I see all the hype! A cruise ship is such a fun vacation with SO much adventure and opportunities for relaxation. What a great place to go with friends and family - I can’t even fully describe how perfect of a trip it was for these age of 6, 10.5 and 12. Having Brynna was a HUGE reason this trip was so great for us and for Delaney and Addison.
Room: I loved our connecting rooms, especially for the ages we are at - 2 rooms with 2 separate bathrooms for th 5 of us was the absolute best way to go, without a doubt. We really used and enjoyed the joining balconies in both rooms too and have the Babiarz on the other side of us for 3 connecting balconies was 3 times as much fun! For future cruises, I would consider doing one balcony room for Blake and I and one interior room, directly across for the kids if it saved a significant amount of money, especially as they got older. But a balcony and 2nd bathroom will always be a requirement!
Room Location: We absolutely LOVED 9304 and 9306 state rooms which were on the 9th floor, mid-ship. Even though it was a large ship, we were right by 90% of everything and could easily take the stairs a couple of flights to dinner. We never felt any motion except the morning of the very last full day where it was significantly rougher waters and even then, in our room, it wasn't that bad.
Packing:
We packed really well and wore 90% of everything. We did 7 casual dresses for dinner. 3 pairs of shoes were great for me - Robe was used for sure, lounging in the room or on the balcony. We didn’t go all out but felt very appropriate. You can easily go super dressy if you want. Bring a long sleeve t-shirt or thin sweatshirt for cool mornings or evenings on ship. Definitely SPF water shirts for excursions and sunny boat days. For guys, bring one or two pairs of pants and a long sleeve top and light jacket or sweatshirt for the Caribbean nights.
Shoes: I wore my Teva water shoes all 3 days for excursions, Havana flip flops around the pool and ship, and one nude pair of kinda dressy low wedge sandals for all dinners. For the skids - tennis shoes (Carter wore a lot) for sure, 1 nice neutral dress shoes or for Carter - his nice suede Vans for evenings. Flip flops and Chacko or Teva's for excursions.
As we always do, we brought tons of medicine. Between us and the Babiarz, we used a tons of Neospoirin and bandaids, ear drops for water days, Dramamine or patches, Advil for sunburns, eye drops for red eyes, and we should have packed after sun aloe gel.
