January 10, 2019 kicked off Delaney's CBC Upward team's first ever practice! Delaney was the only girl on the team but really never made comments about it all season. I think it's a true example of how if we, as parents, don't make a big to do about it, then it's not a big deal to her.

February games were so much fun to watch her be really into the games as she learned that she had to actually bounce the ball when he brought it down and how the best thing to do was to stand under the basket and hope for the ball to fall into your hands. She quickly loved to be the inbounder overtime and her anticipation of the loud buzzer usually turned her focus off from the game once the clock was under 1 minute,

Early March was the last game! We were super proud of Delaney's focus and dedication her entire first basketball season!
