In efforts to embrace this age and how busy our household is with amazing little people, I decided to document some of the very common scenes that happen over and over again. Our night stands are flooded with "cards" and "presents" from our sweet 5 year old. This particular week, she put a $1.00 bill in a card to us and when we asked Delaney why she gave us money, she matter of factly said "Because that's what I see other people do when they give cards sometimes." There is often lots of dress up going on at the same time. Sometimes there are ballet shoes but more often than not, we find Addison's dirty socks left multiple spots all over the house. Very often, you will find all 5 of us piled on our bed most evenings a week and to our dismay, a sweet, very cuddly 5 year old has managed to fall asleep in between us. Most evenings, her big brother will carry her to her room for us. You will find several stools around this house and us outside many days this beautiful January week. On this particular Sunday evening, you would have even found Carter serenading Delaney and I with Somewhere Over The Rainbow, during a relaxing evening bath, with a wall in between us or snuggled in bed reading Delaney's favorite stories called Fancy Nancy.
