It was a super cold and wet March 1st weekend but Blake was working a conference Saturday out there so we decided to have a little get-a-way. We had a blast eating dinner at High Velocity with the gigantic TVs, playing our first true game of pool as a family, splurging on S'mores and dancing the night away to the live acoustic music! We had a movie night curled up together and then woke up and played three new family board games that we borrowed from the kid's area. It was nothing incredibly exciting independently but together made for really fun memories. As much fun as we had in our twenty hour stay-cation, it reminded me that I'm not quite excited for a week long vacation with airplanes and hotel rooms quite yet. We'll reevaluate in six more months. ;)
