Carter's 6th Season Of Basketball @ 8 Years Old!

Carter still loves basketball more than any other sport, if you ask him.  This season was, yet again, spectacular to watch. Listening to strangers in the stand, who didn't know that I was Carter's mother, was hysterical. In particular, I remember once during his second or third game of the Upward's season, he missed a layup shot that he had previously made six times that game and several people in the stands gasped when the ball didn't go in - shocked that he had finally missed one. Even though he scored 16-20 points in most games, Carter knew when to stop trying to make shots and to try hard to get the ball into his teammate's hands. We focused on his assists and rebounds this year and above all, his continued love of the game! We have absolutely loved our well organized Upwards League, yet again this year.
