In traditional form, Carter woke up to a big breakfast of his favorites complete with party hats. Like the previous two years, his dad went to school with him and spent the entire day with him as a WATCH DOG. I was up at school volunteering with Addie's class and brought his class his request of "big donuts with sprinkles" for everyone. Since it was a school night and the following day was the last day of school before a 2.5 week Christmas break filled with constant fun, we stayed low-key and ate dinner and The Metcalf's dropped by their gift for him and we enjoyed his favorite - Cookie Cake! It was a perfect fun-filled day. Carter has opted to wait to have his birthday party until Top Golf opens here in San Antonio in January.
(Insert any pictures Blake has on his phone of being at school that day)
For memory sakes, for his 8th birthday this year the gifts he received that were some of his favorites were his Microscope, Bow and Arrow with target, Spurs beanie hat, Under Armour tennis shoes and The Dangerous Book for Boys. He asked us to work a deal out with Santa for him to be able to put his birthday money from us towards a electric "Crazy Cart," that he really wants for Christmas.
