Addie's 5th Birthday Party: Pajamas & Pancakes

I wanted it cute, simple and meaningful. So many of our bigger parties have felt like a whirlwind with so many kids and parents that I don't feel like the kids really got to play with one another. I decided I wanted Addie's 5th birthday to be more of an extremely fun & nice play-date with a theme! It was awesome and I thank Diane/Meme for ALL her help before, during and after the party!

Carter was a big help and Delaney helped daddy vacuum. Decorations were simple, a sheet set from Target to make the table into a bed and the only thing I got crafty with were the appliqued shirts for everyone who attended.

My main goal of the party was just to let the girls loose in the house to play and do whatever they wanted. They also had coloring sheets I printed off and fruit loop necklaces to make if they felt like it! There was no set timeline for this party... just to have fun. Case and point, the main activity unexpectantly became the super cool glitter tattoos The Metcalfs had given Addie. Both Addie and Carter don't care for traditional cakes so Addie opted for a donut cake instead and enjoyed her early morning first ever visit to Krispy Kreme to pick them out.

Milk and Cookies were the gift at the end.

The two five year old best friend giving a high-five!
