Addie graduated from Pre-K and we celebrated it with the annual reading of Dr. Seuss' The Places You Will Go by the Pre-K teachers, diploma presentation, ice cream social, a fun afternoon at the pool with many of her friends from her class and finally a dinner with Addie's two twin boy friends - Brady & Owen. It was all about celebrating Addie!

Carter's FIRST Lost Tooth!
Carter's bottom right center tooth was loose for well over 6 weeks and on Sunday May 26, when Carter was three weeks away from 6 1/2 years old, Uncle Sean and Aunt Julie said enough is enough and it's time to get this baby out. At closer inspection, we saw that his adult tooth was already growing in behind it! There couldn't have been a better place to loose his first tooth than at the lake house where Grandpa told the Tooth Fairy there must always be a "Lake House Bonus!"

Carter's First Field Day
The five of us headed to up to Carter's school Friday morning to volunteer and cheer the kids on in their school's very first Field Day! Due to rain, it got moved indoors but we still had fun.
Delaney at 2 1/2 Months
At 2.5 months:
- You are 12 lbs & 10 oz
- Your eyes are still blue as ever
Nursing is going so well & I don't have to constantly say your name to keep you awake while eating
- I could hold you ALL DAY long
- Your skin is perfect, not a bump on it
- You suddenly notice if you are the only one in the room and you don't like it
- You have gone 8.5 hours and I had to wake you up at that point
- You still sleep in the bassinet in our closet and I LOVE scooping you up all swaddled and watching your little baby stretches over your head
- You ALWAYS want your fingers or fist in your mouth but still dislike the pacifier (so we threw them all away)
My Girls: 2 Month Comparison
Although they weigh about the same in each of these photos, Addie is just about 2 months old and Delaney is 2.5 months.

Addie's 5th Birthday Party: Pajamas & Pancakes
I wanted it cute, simple and meaningful. So many of our bigger parties have felt like a whirlwind with so many kids and parents that I don't feel like the kids really got to play with one another. I decided I wanted Addie's 5th birthday to be more of an extremely fun & nice play-date with a theme! It was awesome and I thank Diane/Meme for ALL her help before, during and after the party!
Carter was a big help and Delaney helped daddy vacuum. Decorations were simple, a sheet set from Target to make the table into a bed and the only thing I got crafty with were the appliqued shirts for everyone who attended.
My main goal of the party was just to let the girls loose in the house to play and do whatever they wanted. They also had coloring sheets I printed off and fruit loop necklaces to make if they felt like it! There was no set timeline for this party... just to have fun. Case and point, the main activity unexpectantly became the super cool glitter tattoos The Metcalfs had given Addie. Both Addie and Carter don't care for traditional cakes so Addie opted for a donut cake instead and enjoyed her early morning first ever visit to Krispy Kreme to pick them out.
Milk and Cookies were the gift at the end.
The two five year old best friend giving a high-five!
