This year to celebrate Valentine's Day, each morning beginning on February 1st, Carter and Addie had a special note on their door from mommy and daddy on something we love about them. Blake and I had a fun time together coming up with the list of twenty-eight items and first thing each morning they would ask us to read the new one on each of their doors. It was a fun family project for the two weeks leading up to Valentine's Day.

On Valentine's Day, Addie had Farm Animal Day at school. She loved the cows, pigs, horses, pony and especially the ducks this year!
Our six year old has learned to play chess at his after school program, KINS, and loves it! So for Valentine's Day, he got his first chess set and has enjoyed playing with daddy. I find it absolutely amazing that he grasps the concept and patience to play.
Addie's passion is her hair these days, so she got an assortment of fun new hair accessories and green nail polish... since that is her new favorite color these days.
