It was an 7 day playdate or 7 Saturday's in a row since school was closed for an entire week. 90% of the city lost power, water and internet. We were in the extreme minority that didn't loose water or power. There were 4 days of sub freezing conditions, which the city was not built for. I kept the house in the low 60's because I was fully expecting to loose heat and didn't want to make it an extreme change if it did happen. This was our life 5 full days, waking up to snow on the ground for 5 days was just wild. We kicked off the weekend with a GOBROMO Ski Lodge party and honestly, we had no idea that Friday night what was in store just 48 hours later!
We definitely didn't have an urge for a ski trip after the last 5 days of Colorado weather!
