DAY 2:
We hopped on the 8:30AM bus from the hotel to Hollywood Studios and arrrived just as the gates were opening. As one of her gifts she opened on the first morning, Delaney got a special autograph book so we headed straight to meet Olaf and, for the first time this trip, Delaney was slightly hesitant asking me for me to come with her to talk to the big white guy. I think Olaf was her very first fully costumed character meet and greet up close, as the prior 9 characters had just been people. But, pretty quickly, she warmed up to him and it was fun to watch them interact, even without Olaf being able to talk. It really is amazing to see how well trained they are to get kids to warm up to them quickly.
Around this point in the morning was yet another time, that I was glad it was just Delaney on this trip, since her Disney World priorities are so different than her older siblings. For example, instead of going to the most popular ride at Hollywood Studios - Toy Story Mania or one of the Star Wars things, she begged us to go meet DocMcStuffins and Sofia The First. Delaney really was "star struck" with Sofia... it was so sweet. I loved watching Doc show her around her vet office. It was so nice having the photographers there to take pictures and I could be doing live videos of the interactions.
Then, we walked right into the Under The Sea with Ariel show and it was so cute. I remember seeing it before with Macy and Addie, 6 years ago! With Delaney at 4 years old, she was quick to say "they weren't real." Although she loves it, you can tell how everything in her brain is processing who she perceives real and who is not real. That was a difference from when Addison came just before she turned 3. At that age, there was no doubt that EVERYTING WAS REAL!
After Ariel, we casually made our way to the big outdoor musical of Beauty and The Beast. We stopped on the side of the street to enjoy some fresh hot buttered popcorn and a entire traveling 12 person show magically popped up right in front of us! It was really pretty cool.
Afterwards, we went straight to our Fast Pass reservation of the Frozen Sing Along around 1:30 which ended our day in the most awesome way! This was our favorite show, by far, and totally worth a trip to Hollywood Studios with Frozen fans! The 2 commentators were absolutely hysterical and the show was great for kids and adults. And it snowed during the show! Moana was supposed to be there but disappointed to find "she was on vacation in Hawaii," during our time at Disney.
It had been pretty cool and comfortable all day until we got out of show just after 2PM. It was pretty brutal and a reminder that I would have not interest in Disney World in Florida past April! The only other thing we had consisted for Delaney at Hollywood was The Disney Jr show, but we opted to head back to hotel and swim!
Delaney got wind they may have strawberry daiquiris at the pool and was so pumped to get a HUGE one! She played on the amazing splash pad and slides for a couple of hours, we dined at the pool and headed back to the room for a somewhat early to bed at 9:30 to get ready for our last full day at Magic Kingdom tomorrow!
