Our annual tradition going on 9 years... I can't believe you are 9 years old. At this exact moment in time, these are the 10 things that make YOU Carter Brown at 9 years old... if I were able to hit "pause."
10. FOOD - You are a great eater and very balanced in all you eat. You love sushi and seafood and artichokes amoung the more basic pizza and hamburgers. There is really nothing you won't eat. Although, you favorite at this age is chocolate chip ice cream!
9. MATH - You are SO strong at math... you love it and you thrive at it!
8. CALEB - Your best buddy from school... he's a great kid and we love his family!
7. GOLF - You played a good amount of tournaments in 2015 and you seemed to really enjoy it, even though you never practiced or had lessons in between.
6. You love BEING WITH FAMILY and TRAVELING! You have missed not traveling as much in the last couple of years prior to this Summer, since Delaney has been born. You will be excited when we tell you that we are taking you snow skiing for the first time in several years in just a couple of months, in February!
5. You love EXPLORING OUTSIDE... you spend hours and hours out there and it makes my heart SO happy! We just finally poured foundation on our new home on your actual 9th birthday so soon, you will have 1.7 acres with a creek bed to explore.
4. BUILDING THINGS - it can be Legos, or a cheap set or taking apart things and putting them back together. You just LOVE it.
3. YOUR SISTERS - They continue to be one your favorite things and Addison is your 24/7 built in playmate. You have a such a special bond with both of them.
2. SOCCER - You have been playing for 18 months for the Academy team at Classics and this coming month, we decided to move you back down to your own age team for this last Spring season before you have Select tryouts this May. We are hoping that being with your own aged players increases your confidence.
1. BASKETBALL - This is the sport that is our one TRUE and STEADFAST love. You can't wait to start your 7th season in a week!
