Just as I expected, Addison loved cotillion. She had so much fun with Ella and seeing her friends from Lopez there, as well as meeting a group of friends from Bush and STEM. It was 5 Wednesdays straight of getting dressed up, spending more time on her hair, and putting a little mascara on. Mascara was the only makeup she ever asked for. And I agree. It's my #1 makeup item. I was just surprised she realized that so early! The 5th evening was the "Parent's night," where I was a chaperone and loved having all the kids walk up to me and get to look them in the eyes as they greeted me and told me their names, as well as their partner's. I must have said, "I am Mrs. Brown...." 40 times, which felt so weird. That night was easily my favorite watching Addie and Blake interact and dance the night away. They had so much fun and defintley made memories that will last a lifetime.
