About 30 days prior to bike rodeo, we finally remembered to take the training wheels off Delaney's bike. She really doesn't ride her bike that much so we had forgotten to teach her. We practiced 3-4 times over the month and we focused a lot of her being able to push off herself and get going. We were shocked when she came home that Friday with a 2nd place 1st grade, girls trophy! Practice pays off, for sure. This was a great 6 year old life lesson of what a little focus and practice can do.
