2nd Annual Fancy Family Dinner Before School Starts (Pappedeaux)

Last August, we started the tradition of Back To School Fancy Dinner to goal set for the school year. It was fun to continue the tradition and introduce them to Pappadeaux.

I'll never forget asking Carter what he wants more of and he said "church." When I asked what he wants less of, he said, "sugar." He was super serious. This Summer, we had been focusing on learning about what sugar does to our body and how it makes us feel after eating too much, but I never would of thought he would have internalized it so well. That was a pretty cool moment.

The funniest part about the above picture of the kid's school goals was that Delaney decided on setting a goal to ride a bike with no training wheels by bike rodeo and to read in Spanish and English. So Blake wrote them down while we were at the restaurant so that she could copy them onto the paper and when we looked down at the note, we see that Delaney had crossed off the 3rd one that Blake had tried to sneak in, which said "to sleep by myself." I guess she can already read in English.
