Blake and Megan in Sedona, Arizona

My Lilly team had won an award's trip to Sedona. But first, we had to make a stop to hang out with Kelly Boerckel, since they had moved to Phoenix about a year earlier. It was my second time and Blake's first time to Sedona and we loved having so much time to explore the area together and then fun people to explore with, too! It was the ideal mix of a trip! We first night, we had a casual team dinner.

In the early morning, the tow of us hiked Bell Tower before joining my team for a famous Pink Jeep Tour.

Pink Jeep Tour with my team!

Then, it was time to go play golf for Blake and for me to have some pool time with friends!

That night we had dined at Salt Rock, attached to the hotel that Nikki Dillard and I had stayed at the year before. Afterwards, we found the Sedona Airport Overklook to watch the sunset.

The next early morning, I took Blake to my favorite hike from the first time I visited, Cathedral Rock.

We ran into 2 terrific women at trail's end and they took us to a secret trail past the "end." It was a super cool place and we just hung out there with them soaking it all in, before heading back down.

Our team experience that day ended up being really cool. We did a Native Roots experience, where we had 2 Native Americans teach us about their culture, taught us how to make traditional dream catchers and did a dance demonstration as he was a 5 time world champion. We even got to learn moves with the hoops.

Afterwards, Mallory and her husband, Kyle, and us ate lunch at The Hudson, by far, my favorite restaurant in Sedona. The drinks and the Ahi Tuna sandwich will not be soon forgotten.

Our next adventure was waiting for us when we rented a big ATV for the entire afternoon and explored so many hard to access Sedona landmarks, like Devil's Bridge Trail and extreme ATX steep trails!

Our last evening, we ate at a TOP 10 Mexican restaurant in the USA, Elote Cafe.

The following morning, we said goodbye to the desert, Andy Boerckel picked us up at the rental car drop off and drove us 5 minutes to the airport!
