Addison's Spring Soccer Season (2nd half of 1st Select Season with Coach Kevin Rule)

January and February were filled with 4 full weeks of 4 days of practice, each week.

In addition, in both months, Saturday morning were for Addison's first ever indoor futsol soccer season, no coach, just fun! Her teams played Ollie Moake's boys team nearly every weekend.

Feb 2 and 3 weekend was the fun out of town tournament to Houston for the Houston Albion tournament.

2/23 - Bahama Bucks post game fun!

3/2 - Pops came to Addison's game!

March 23, 2019 - To Austin for a game

April 5, 2019 - Addison's first soccer sense lesson.

Memorial Day weekend, the week after tryouts for next year, Addison's team played in the Lions tournament. They played up a year and in the top bracket. The beat the Lions 2007 girls team Friday night in an exciting game, probably one of my most favorite games all season. Saturday morning, they beat one of the Austin Lonestar teams very easy leaving the Austin Lonestar Pre-DA Team for Sunday morning. It tied due to a controversial goal where they called a goal back of ours saying that the goalie had possession of the ball, when everyone around, even other team's parents and videos, showed that she never did. But it led to a championship game penalty kick to end the tie. Addison had already had an incredible game and entered the penalty kicks with confidence but unfortunately it didn't work out and the Lonestar team won.

This entire year, under coach Kevin, Addison played exactly 50% goalie and field. We were happy to see Kevin do what he said he would do! Addison still has a burning passion for goalie but loves the field to.
