This Chapter of Our Lives: Weekend Edition Late Summer/Fall of 2015 when the kids were 9, 7 and 2.

For a few years now, I have tried to capture everyday moments around our house. Being acutely aware how fast our lives change with growing children, I already love looking back remembering our "everyday," from just a few years ago.

This particular weekend's events were nothing too special, independently, but presented the story of our normal lives in the late Summer/Fall of 2015 when the kids were 9, 7 and 2.

Friday night we had a fun and casual outdoor dinner at The Perkins, one of our very favorite places to be.

First thing Saturday morning, we headed downtown to the opening ceremony of the new Hemisfair Park.

Then it was off to 3 soccer games. This particular day we had both Carter and Addison playing at the exact same time on neighboring fields!
Saturday 5PM church where we so thrilled Delaney has happily gone to and stayed in her kid's church room for almost 6 weekends straight.

After church, we decided to go for an impromptu Geocaching treasure hunt, dinner at Jason's Deli and more nighttime geocaching!
We slept in Sunday morning and kicked it off with Family Game Night contest for our trophy award. Blake won it this time!!

We decided to visit the movies and watch Shawn The Sheep.
We even went back to last night's Geocaching location that we couldn't find and successfully located it in the daylight.

Carter and Addison played outside with some neighborhood kids while Delaney napped.

Addison had some one on one soccer time with dad and Carter decided to be proactive and worked on some Rainbow Loom pencils for his "3rd Grade Market Days" next semester!

As a rare night treat, Blake and I decided to cook dinner for the kids and  to support a new sushi place less than a quarter mile away. In typical Delaney form, this is how Blake and I enjoyed our sushi dinner with a two year old two inches away.

Reading is a big deal for us as a family on Friday's, Saturday's and Sunday's. We try to read together, aloud, independently, in Spanish and English, as much as we can since we are on the go most weekday evenings.
