Nine and a half hours later, I picked them up from KINS and Carter didn't stop talking about the third grade protocols and organization and homework and supplies and agenda book and homework and how is teacher labeled all his notebooks and how they are selling pencils later in the year for the third grade project and that he keeps his markers IN their box and colored pencils OUT of their box and how he HAS to read for thirty minutes every single day and how he may have 3-5 math homeworks A DAY and how he has volunteered to bring the "class pet" home for 3 weeks. (It better not be a snake!) We had to cut him off when he hadn't taken a single bite of his dinner after 25 minutes of us all sitting at the table.
Addison, on the other hand, told us who sits near her and showed us a picture she had drawn and written about. Oh and then she threw in something about playing a game with M&M's whe talking about their summer.
It was a pretty perfect day.
