Carter's First Season With Classics Soccer

In January 2015, just after turning 8, we made the decision that it was definitely time to move Carter from YMCA type level soccer program to an Academy program. We chose Classics Elite and have been thrilled with the level of play and coaching. For over 3 months now, Carter has been practicing two evenings a week for 90 minutes each day with games on Saturdays. With the Spring of 2015 being an incredibly wet and stormy one, many games have been cancelled but this weekend we are playing in a four game tournament. Diane "Meme," last minute drove in late last night, after just being here on a rainy weekend, in order to watch the soccer games this weekend! Such amazing dedication.

My dad, Carter's grandfather, has been to many of Carter's games and has even helped us with practices. We received this email from "Pops" and although we didn't share the content with Carter just now, we want Carter to be able to read it years from now:

"I don't know who taught this kid to play soccer but he has some BRAZILIAN in him!!  Man can he play, magical feet if I ever saw them.  He has some moves that none of the other kids have seen.  Some are bigger and stronger but C-MAN has the technique down and I mean it.  He plays like a ghost, he is always there but he doesn't exert himself unless it's time to do so, thereby conserving his energy.  I'm very impressed.  I think soccer is his sport.  Don't bother to claim Blake is responsible, this kid has some PELE in him, it's natural."
