Carter, at age 7.5, continues playing in STPGA tournaments, on average, about one a month and is loving it. He is still working towards qualifying for the 9 hole tournaments and needs one more tournament of 8 under par, to qualify. His biggest downfall at this age is trying to keep control of his emotions when he makes a bad shot or knows it is impossible to qualify, he looses control and has a hard time staying together and not crying. With his competitive personality, we know this is normal for his age and something we are looking forward to working on. It's been hard to do any golf practice with baseball going on this Fall but we are excited to start weekly group lessons at First Tee in December.
