On Christmas Day afternoon, my dad, Blake and Carter left for a quick Pearsall hunting trip which turned out to be very memorable. After being in the blind in the early morning hours, they went into town to eat some breakfast and since it was overcast, they decided to get back into a stand. Late morning, everything started moving and out came "Bucky," our friend. Carter and Blake were in a blind and Blake took and shot and Carter couldn't be more excited! After getting the meat processed and filling up our deep freeze, Blake and Carter self mounted Bucky's horns which are nicely displayed in Carter's room. I was so excited for both of my boys. After the venison was processed, we had a party and Cindy came over and cooked for a group of friends!
