Our beautiful and sensitive Delaney - On December 8, you turned nine months old. Let's start with the good because there is so much of it: this ENTIRE month, you slept 7PM - 7AM (thank you so very much, sweet girl!) Your laugh is so funny, almost like a cough and you pant like a dog when you are excited. When you see the new big stuffed Smokey dog, you laugh, pant and crawl right over to it! On Dec 12, right at nine months, I finally admit that your first two words where you actually 100% know what you are saying is "dada" and "da," meaning DOG! You LOVE baths and they can instantly calm you if you are tired and start to get worked up before going to bed. Also right at nine months (12/14/14) when you pull up, you are instantly letting go and standing for 2-3 seconds before you slowly kneel down. You LOVE the camera and I have hundreds of pictures of you, at this age, crawling towards me (and the camera) when I start snapping pictures. So let's move on to the less than desirable characteristics you help to make you, YOU! (I know we will look back and laugh in a few years.) Delaney, you STILL want to be held ALL of the time AND we are not exaggerating one bit. You cry within 2 seconds of your bottom hitting the ground even if we place you in the middle of several toys and your brother and sister! (Day care says that they don't know this version of you, which solidifies that your mom and dad, did in fact, mess up somewhere along the way with our third child! You strongly dislike all your toys, especially your walker. The only toys you love are stuffed animals (just like Addie!) A week before Christmas, you developed some congestion and temperature and I took you to pediatrician, when they said your ear was only mildly red and they wouldn't give you antibiotic per new guidelines (12/19/14). On 12/21/14, you were in so much pain, we took you to urgent care where you had right ear infection and started Cefdinir for 10 days. Eating wise, you eat so much table food now, you dramatically decreased your # of ounces per bottle so we dropped you from 5 to 4 bottles with no more than 6 oz each. On Christmas, we dropped you further to 3 - 8oz bottles at 9:30, 2 and 7PM. You eat everything we eat at breakfast, lunch, dinner and 2 snacks! You are signing "all-done" and trying to do "more."
