Alamo City Moms Blog

Last May, I was asked to be a contributor for the brand new website and blog that was preparing to launch here in San Antonio this past July 2013. I remember almost saying no to the opportunity but then remembered my priorities in life and at the top was being a "mom." With life at a all time crazy level, I came to the conclusion, what better way could I make sure I am focusing on that #1 job, then join a group of ladies that all had the same priorities yet come from a diverse background all over San Antonio!?

It's been six months and I wanted to make sure I had documented for our annual blog memory book, this exciting chapter in life.

Here are some of my posts over the last 6 months:
  1. 5 Ideas To Keep The Memories Alive
  2. Get Those Boogers Out: NoseFrieda Product Review
  3. Family Fun Excursion To Guadalupe State Park
  4. Core Physique Review - New Place To Work Out
  5. Mamarazzi: Tips On Photographing Your Kids
  6. 6 Ways To Simplify Your Life
  7. Tips To Support Other Moms
  8. New Kid Friendly BBQ Place
  9. My Top 10 Favorite Baby Gear For The First 6 Months
  10. Traveling While Nursing a Baby
  11. Spanish Dual Language in Elementary School
  12. Omelet In A Bag
This has been a great experience to meet and most importantly learn from other local moms. I have learned so much about San Antonio that I would have never known if not for this group of ladies.

It's been fun to be on TV a couple of times talking about different posts. Just last week, I was asked to bring the kids onto Great Day SA to cook live on the air. It was such a fun and wonderful experience for Carter and Addie to spend two hours in the actual news room watching the anchor, weather and traffic men and women go live on the air. They got to talk to all of them and it was just a overall amazing morning and I couldn't be prouder of them and how it turned out.

Also, the first time  back in the summer, I joined Brooke on SA Living to talk about my first ever post - "5 Ideas To Keep Memories Alive." Tons of memories are definitely being made.
