At 6 years old, this was Carter's first swim team season and he is a natural. On the first day of practice in early May, he didn't know how to do the back stroke and left practice in tears frustrated. Blake spent one afternoon with him in the pool teaching him and a couple of weeks later, he is breaking all kinds of 6 year old records with his backstroke time. During his first meet, he recieved 1st in freestyle in 8 years and under, 2nd in breaststroke, 1st in backstroke and 1st in the relay! We are so proud of him.
