Breckenridge - Day 3: Hiking Quandary Peak

Hiking one of Colorado's tallest peaks at 14,000 feet was by accident. We were looking for "McCullough Gulch," an easier and lower hiking trail and somehow didn't realize (even with this sign behind us in this first picture) that we were on the wrong trail until we kept being passed by professional, hard core hikers and finally started asking some questions. Needless to say, we didn't make it to the top but we enjoyed the couple of hours of hiking with YaYa and Grandpa and made some awesome memories!

 I put all the kids in bright orange this trip so I could easily look up and see them all quickly! It really worked. They will probably have neon matching outfits in multiple colors for the rest of their lives!

My absolute favorite time of the day here. The beach is in gorgeous condition especially compared to the past two to three years. Our best friends and our family - all healthy and thriving... I don't think life can get any better at this point!
